What is the price based on?

Our price is based on the man hours involved in packing, loading and unloading togehter with the distance from one property to another

What happens if we must wait for the keys?

As with all moving companies, there will be a waiting time charge but we do offer a Key Delay waiver.

Do you offer insurance?

Yes, we sell full insurance cover and our cover is with the leading insurer within the removals and storage industry.

Are the staff fully trained?

Our managing director is the most well-known approved and qualified trainer for the moving industry. You can be assured that all our staff go through very thorough training on an ongoing basis and this is top priority within our company. How far do you travel?

With our own vehicles we cover the UK, Ireland and all Western Europe.

Do you offer a packing service?

We offer full pack, part pack or whatever you feel you want us to do.

Do you provide packing materials?

We can provide all packing materials, various sizes of boxes, tape, bubble wrap etc.

How many claims have you had?

Due to our unique way of wrapping all furniture in our quilted pads prior to moving, Family Movers has NEVER processed an insurance claim.

How much notice do I need to give for my move?

As much notice as possible is always recommended but we are tried and tested in arranging moves at very short notice.

When do I need to pay for my move?

A deposit is required to secure your booking with us and full payment is due 7 days prior to your moving day.

Does my house removal happen all in one day?

We always tailor your move to meet your requirements and suit you best. Often with large volume moves it works better and is certainly less stressful when we part load the day prior to completion.
