One of our most popular additional service is the Packing. From a fragile pack of one room, to the complete wrap and pack of an entire mansion, our team of professional movers will be there every step of the way. Whether you need wardrobes dismantled or bookcases rebuilt, we can offer this as an additional service too.

In 1998 when BAR were looking to set up regional training centres I ran training at the East Anglia centre until 2005. During this time we were the leading training centre and were also the main Britannia Training centre and saw several thousand people through the door.
It was my chance to convert my passion for removals into helping others and I am still very proud to this day of the results achieved and knowing I have made such a difference in our industry. I turned my passion for removals into a real flare for training and have a proven track record both in the removals industry and others as BAR used me to deliver all the outside training for other clients including
Supporters of East Coast Truckers Children’s Society
The East Coast Truckers Children’s Charity support disabled and disadvantaged children throughout East Anglia to provide fun-filled days out that create lasting memories for the children and their families.
What a service! When I had the original chat and quotation I did not believe they could deliver the service they claimed to. ie being available on any day, suppling the boxes, taking all the furniture to bits etc etc. But they delivered (pun intended) and then some. Cannot fault anything from start to finish. Top Banana!

I can highly recommend Family Movers for your moving needs. They were fantastic with us with a difficult sale we were going through, our dates moved multiple times but they were so accommodating with any changes and understood our worries. They are so family oriented and were fantastic with my 4 year old son.We will definitely be using them when required in the future.
This firm have been totally amazing saved my sanity helped above and beyond. They are friendly kind always on time and the collecting prior to move day and delivering things over 2 days made moving less stressful for myself and my 80 year old mum. They take away the boxes help with placing boxes and putting up and taking down of furniture. I would recommend any day yes you can get a man with a van but these are worth every penny for my sanity my stress levels and just for the daily support they give. Amazing people of a understanding caring family firm. Can't thank you enough xxx

Thanks to Andy for the very short notice survey visit and Hayley and Iona in the office who did the paperwork.They packed us up over 3 days (shout out to Ben and Connor who did the lion's share of that work) and moved us in late afternoon (after a horrendous journey to get to the new house) calling in many many more of the team to help, getting everything in by 9pm (even the American style fridge freezer that was a nightmare - sorry girl and guys!)Not the cheapest quote, but by far the best. I wish I'd found them sooner. Don't hesitate to book this firm.

Simply the best. From start to finish during an immensely stressful period, they took away the stress of physically moving. On the run up to the move Andy was easy to reach and so helpful, on the day Nathan and the team were so professional, and nothing was too much trouble.
Using Family Movers removals service is some of the best money I have ever spent. They took the stress of an international move completely away and from the start and made a daunting process much less so! The removal guys are respectful and very hardworking they did not stop until everything was done! The office team were fantastic in assisting with customs import documentation which is a minefield to say the least. I just can't recommend Andy and his whole team highly enough and would not hesitate to use their services again!

What is the Code of Practice?
The British Association of Removers Code of Practice is the only code in the moving industry that’s approved and monitored by the Trading Standards Institute. All BAR members abide by the Code that dictates the standards of service you will receive, the quality of the materials used, the standards of vehicles and warehouses, staff training requirements and what will happen if something goes wrong. Most importantly the Code requires BAR moving companies to deal with you in a courteous and sympathetic way at all times.
