“The family Moving team were amazing! We are in our 80s and we were not looking forward to moving house. The Family Moving team came the day before our move and did the majority then, which is a wonderful idea. It wasn’t stressful, there was no time pressures and we actually had loads of teas and laughs. Our antique Grand Father clock was packed with the utmost care, all parts were carefully removed and wrapped individually and ALL of our furniture was wrapped with thick covers. The team returned the next day to pack the last few bits. At no point was there any rushing or time pressures. Everything was packed in the lorry by 11am. The team knew where everything needed to go at the other end so we left them to it. They stayed with us until we were completely happy (7pm).
I have moved a lot of times in my life and I can honestly say this was the best move I have ever experienced. DO NOT USE ANYONE ELSE!

Nathan and his team worked hard over two days to pack and load for us. They worked quickly and carefully. As yet we have not found any items to be damaged. We were amazed that they managed to unload everything from the four vans in such a short period of time. They were very helpful in making the journey and process less stressful for our pets, offloading the rabbit hutch first even taking it over a wall!!

We have just moved in October 2017 from Kings Lynn, Norfolk to Telford, Shropshire. This move took 2 days to complete and throughout it all Family Movers were great. They arrived on time and started straight away, talking us through each room to find out exactly what we were taking. Each item was individually wrapped (even some decorative grasses) to prevent damage and door and floor protectors used in each property. Our possessions were safely stored overnight and they arrived early the next day. After finding out where we wanted our stuff placed, they got on with the job. Even made sure we didn’t want anything removed to a different spot. They were no breakages or damage to any of our possessions. The team were all well presented, friendly, polite with a good sense of humour. Would definitely recommend Family Movers, a great service at a good price

Family Movers were recommended to me when I was seeking a local company to move my elderly parents from London to Norfolk. And what a great recommendation! Andrew assured me from the outset that he would take great care of my parents; he was sensitive to the enormity of the move for people of that age and nothing was too much trouble. Communications from the office were polite, prompt and efficient and on the two days of the move, Nathan and the removals team were first class. My 96 year old father can be a hard man to please but he hasn’t stopped praising the excellence of Family Movers! I’m sorry that its taken so long to leave feedback but you know whats its like when you move! We used Family Movers at the end of last year. From the start, Andy was very helpful and friendly. We had a number of false starts with completion dates but each time I called any to delay our move it didn’t phase him at all. On moving day itself Nathan rang me to advise that they would be a few minites late arriving due to traffic but him and his team arrived within 10-15 mins of the orginaly agreed time anyway. During the morning they worked tirelessly loading their vans. The whole team was professional and friendly and took great care of our items. I don’t think they even stopped for a break!All of the furniture was covered with protective covers. At the new house the team were just as good. Due to a delay between solicitors up and down the small chain they didn’t get started to unload very early but again worked tirelessly putting things where we wanted them. It was around 9pm that they left us that night after making sure that everything was ok. I cannot recommend these guys enough. One thing stuck with me on my initial meeting with Andy – he said we treat everything as carefully as if it is our own – a rather large claim but I can certiainly say that he is true to his word – no damage whatsoever to anything! Nathan was a credit to the company on the day – running his team like clockwork but also remaining very friendly and ensuring that a bit of humour was injected when he saw that we were stressing over the solicitor delays. This company is one that I would happily use again and again if I was moving regularly ( which I don’t plan to do to often)and would easily recommend them to family and friends. Having moved house on a number of occasions, I can honestly say that Family Movers is by far the best firm that I have dealt with, they were simply fantastic.
